CMHC Success Stories
Stacy - I was very grateful to CMHC for helping me and my daughter. I was going through a difficult time, and my finances were suffering. I found CMHC online and wasn’t sure what to expect. All I had was hope and faith that things would turn around for me. I filled out the form and received a quick response back.
The application process was very simple and they listed all the requirements on the website. Within one week from application, I was notified that I was approved for assistance. I literally cried and cried.
I am truly blessed to have found CMHC and would definitely recommend them to others in need.
Rikkita- I am a single mother of 4. I came to Georgia fleeing a domestic violence situation and Cobb Moms Helping Cobb helped me and my children get into a place when no one else would. We truly appreciate everything they did for us and are very grateful they were here to help.
Shaquiya - Cobb Moms Helping Cobb helped me in a time of need. They were extremely responsive and let me know what they can help me with. I truly appreciate that there are people like them in this world who looks out for those in need. Thank you so much for your help!
Lydia- I’m very grateful! I lost my job because I got very sick and was denied for unemployment did not know which way to turn! CMHC received me with open arms and helped above and beyond! Even brought some goodies after helping with the rent! That’s true angels! Thank you.
Tyasia - Cobb Moms Helping Cobb truly came through for me in a season when every bit of support mattered. This weekend, they delivered a full month’s worth of fresh groceries, household supplies, and toiletries straight to my door; and let me tell you, this was good food, the kind you’d happily pick out at Walmart yourself. They even took time to consider my allergies and preferences, which made me feel genuinely seen and cared for.
They personally delivered everything with kindness, patience, and the type of warmth that makes you exhale and say, “Okay, I’m gonna be alright.”
They didn’t just drop off groceries, they delivered hope, with a little extra love on the side.
Jessica - I would like to thank CMHC for their support and dedication to our community. Making sure that they are bridging the gap for families during times that assistance is needed.
I love the fact that they have a great communication system when you make your request and they make sure to follow up and make sure everything is taken care of.
I appreciate you guys so much. God Bless!

Partnerships in non-profit is not only valuable, but also essential. I am so grateful that I get to reduce the homelessness and financial stressors with the help of Cobb Moms Helping Cobb. This group of women are all volunteers, and they make a meaningful impact daily in the lives of many of the people I get the privilege to serve. They have assisted in getting electricity restored in the heat of the summer for a single mom, they have paid for hotel rooms on many occasions while families are waiting to move into their own place and their shelter time has exceeded the limit that they can stay, they have help with food for a mom that had no transportation, they often assist with rent when my families are a little short on their portion. I love the no judgment and at the same time holding families accountable by showing them they are worth the support and to show them the benefits of pouring into themselves. I am grateful to serve alongside Cobb Moms with the mission that families in Cobb matter.

In my role as a school social worker, I work closely with students and families who benefit greatly from community support. Agencies that provide assistance to families play a vital role in helping them navigate challenges and thrive. Cobb Moms Helping Cobb is one such agency, and their work truly makes a lasting difference in the lives of those they serve.

Working with Cobb Moms Helping Cobb was truly a blessing to the families I served in Marietta City Schools and Cobb County. It is incredibly powerful to see a group of mothers caring for their own families while still making space to support others in need. I have never experienced that level of commitment or such genuine, compassionate hearts dedicated to helping others heal during difficult times.
